Reasons for Contacting Legislators:
  • Informative update on curriculum
  • Focus on specific legislation in action
  • Propose new legislation
 
Congressional Testimony – Presentation:
1. Contact specific committee and sponsors of the bill
2. Prepare a handout and practice the presentation
3. Arrive very early to sign in
4. Hand in copies of testimony (contact clerk for amount needed)
